SANWA ELECTRIC PHILIPPINES, INC. (SEPI) is an affiliate company of SANWA ELECTRIC CO., LTD in Japan and was established on June 19, 1995. Registered under SEC No. AS095-005815 and PEZA Enterprise No. 95-67.
Started its operation on April 1996, which manufacture electrical fan motors for electrical appliances. Its main customers are Sharp, Hitachi of Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, China and Indonesia.
The very first ISO 14001:1996 Certified Company at First Cavite Industrial Estate on October 1998, our customers grown and followed by the Quality Management System Certification - ISO 9001:2000 on November 2000. Both management & international systems has been upgraded to 2004 version for ISO 14001 on February 20, 2014 and ISO 9001:2008 on January 4, 2012. In order to provide our customers great services and quality products our Quality Management System and Environmental Management System was integrated and has been certified into ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 last February 27, 2018.
Citations given to the company are: Best Locator in Solid Waste Management on October 1998 by First Cavite Industrial Estate Association; Excellence Award for Outstanding Achievement in Cost, Quality & Delivery - November 2002 by Sanwa Japan under the presidency of Mr. Kenichi Utsumi; Recognition in maintaining Hazardous Waste Management in Cavite - October 2003 by the Provincial Governor Ireneo “Ayong ” Maliksi and DENR - Cavite; Most Environment Friendly Locator on December 2003 by FCIEA; and for the valuable & active participation to the 1st FCIE Convention of Labor and Management Councils (LMC) on April 30, 2004 by FCIE Association; Outreach program of Administrative & Human Resource Practitioners Association - Cavite (AHRPA) on October 27, 2011;Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc. - Cavite benefit program on February 28, 2012 and FCIE Christmas Lantern - Decor Competition 2012 on December 11, 2012.
